Evan Cooper

After completing his secondary schooling in Melbourne at the Ivanhoe Grammar School, Evan relocated to the Gold Coast to commence his tertiary studies at Bond University. After completing his degree he commenced his articles with Allan Dick Solicitors in 2001. In 2010 he entered partnership in the firm DC Law.

 

 

In 2013 a fresh approach to the business of law in Queensland was born when Evan created Cooper Roper Legal.

Evan is the Solicitor | Director responsible for our Criminal and Litigation departments. He appears regularly in all courts across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.

 

 

Out of the office Evan enjoys Australian Rules Football, Golf & Travelling. He is also actively involved in various charities and organises an annual charity golf day to assist local charities, which has raised in excess of $50,000.00 in the last three years, and is a regular presenter for the Queensland Traffic Offenders Program. www.qtop.com.au and was a regular commentator on Southern Cross Austereo’s “Talking Back the Night” radio show which was heard nationally.

Mollie completed her secondary schooling in Victoria achieving Academic Honours. Shortly thereafter she relocated to the Gold Coast after being offered the Dean’s Scholarship for Academic Excellence at Bond University. Mollie completed her Bachelor of Laws in an accelerated degree and went on to complete her Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice with Bond University.


Mollie commenced her career in a boutique Criminal Law firm on the Gold Coast. She has practiced exclusively in Criminal Law, Traffic Law and Domestic Violence for almost a decade. She appears on a daily basis before the Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts across Queensland and Local Courts in New South Wales. Mollie has a wealth of experience in dealing with simple traffic matters to more serious and complex criminal matters such as white collar crime, contempt, drug trafficking and Murder. Mollie also has experience in quasi-criminal matters including investigative hearings and criminal confiscations matters.


Known as a formidable and compassionate advocate, Mollie ensures that she achieves the best possible outcomes for her clients.

Callan completed his undergraduate degree in Law at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. After completing his Practical Legal Training at Cooper Roper Legal he remained on as a solicitor with the firm after his admission to the Supreme Court of Queensland. Callan’s experience is varied over the areas of general practices offered by the firm including; Criminal Defence, Family Law, Domestic Violence and Children’s Court.

Paige grew up on the Gold Coast before moving to Maryborough to complete her secondary schooling. Shortly thereafter she relocated back to the Gold Coast to commence her tertiary studies at Griffith University where she completed her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice. Paige went on to complete her Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice with Bond University and after completing her Practice Legal Training at Cooper Roper Legal, she remained on as a Solicitor with the firm after her admission to the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia.

 
Paige holds a Youth Practitioner Certification which enables her to practice in the Children’s Court
 
 
Paige is highly dedicated to assisting all her clients and is a passionate advocate who firmly believes all people, regardless of their personal circumstances and background, should be able to access justice. Paige’s experience is varied over the areas of general practices offered by the firm including: Criminal Defence, Child Protection, Domestic Violence and Conveyancing.

Shannon Fletcher

Shannon is Cooper Roper Legal’s newest solicitor having been admitted to the legal profession in early 2021. Shannon completed her secondary schooling in Central Queensland and relocated to Brisbane in 2015 to complete her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of International Business at Griffith University. After completing her Practical Legal Training at Queensland University of Technology in 2020, Shannon remained on as a solicitor with Cooper Roper Legal working in the firm’s Criminal Law department.

 

 

Shannon routinely appears in the Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts on a range of matters and has a thorough knowledge of court processes. She endeavours to be a zealous advocate and is passionate about ensuring our clients are provided with access to justice in what can be difficult and stressful circumstances for most people.

Outside of work, Shannon can be found spending time on her family’s thoroughbred farm, enjoying live music, or camping.
